Small Business Group Applauds Biden Administration on Clean Energy Manufacturing Investment Project

Statement by Jim, Duffett, Southern States Regional Director of Small Business for America’s Future, on clean energy manufacturing investment project’s impact on small businesses on President Biden’s visit to South Carolina

July 6, 2023–We are glad to see President Biden visit South Carolina today to announce a new clean energy partnership that will spur manufacturing investments and foster economic growth in the state, particularly for small businesses. The collaboration between Enphase Energy and Flex LTD in West Columbia shows how a commitment to investing in clean energy innovation will pay dividends for the state’s small businesses.

Through investments in the clean energy sector and infrastructure, the Inflation Reduction Act will stimulate job creation, create contracting opportunities for businesses, and catalyze economic growth.

We commend the Biden Administration for its dedication to the clean energy sector and recognition of its immense potential to drive innovation and economic growth, especially for small businesses. This project will be instrumental in enabling Main Street to drive change, develop cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to a greener future.
