Small Business for America’s Future co-chair Shaundell Newsome attended the Vegas Chamber event Wednesday featuring SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman, who spoke about proposed changes that would increase access to SBA lending 

Las Vegas, NV, Oct. 27, 2022–Small Business for America’s Future Co-chair and owner of Sumnu Marketing in Las Vegas, NV Shaundell Newsome attended a Vegas Chamber event featuring Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman on Wednesday and is available to comment on proposed changes that would increase access to small business lending.

Guzman spoke to a crowd of local small business owners at the Chamber’s Eggs & Issues forum about regulatory reform for small businesses that would increase access to capital for small businesses.

She also took questions from the audience. Newsome asked how SBA can get local underwriters. 

“We need underwriters who know the community and have empathy towards innovative small business owners and will understand their needs,” said Newsome. “I am happy the SBA wants to hear directly from small businesses about their concerns.” 

Eggs & Issues is an event hosted by the Vegas Chamber to connect members with key federal policymakers.
